Genesis Women’s Shelter & Support
At Implico Communications, we proudly champion organizations making a tangible impact in our communities, with Genesis Women’s Shelter & Support holding a special place in our hearts as a beacon of hope for survivors of domestic violence. Dedicated to empowering women and children to break free from the cycle of abuse, Genesis provides crucial support through comprehensive services, including shelter, counseling, and educational programs, facilitating the rebuilding of lives.
Our commitment to Genesis extends beyond financial contributions, encompassing activities such as donating lunches to Camp G, sponsoring Jamfest, volunteering at the holiday drive and the Conference on Crimes Against Women (CCAW), and contributing logo designs to the silent auction – all underscoring our collective dedication to community betterment. In alignment with our holistic approach to corporate social responsibility, our team actively supports various initiatives with Genesis. Employees generously donate their time to the Genesis Young Leaders board and proudly participate as members of the Dallas Cotillion Club, an organization dedicated to supporting Genesis, reinforcing our commitment through not only financial contributions but also active involvement. At Implico, we take great pride in our role as supporters of Genesis Women’s Shelter & Support’s impactful mission.

Cupid’s
Project Manager, Allie Norton, has been a Cupid’s participant since 2020. She was the Dallas Event Director for the 2024 Cupid’s Undie Run and is continuing her role for 2025. When Allie was about 16 months old, she was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis (NF1). Allie has a tumor located on her right optic nerve because of this genetic condition. Throughout her journey, Allie has undergone surgeries to help improve and prevent further complications. Cupid’s reminds her that you can never stop fighting. It is great to see the community come out to support such a great cause. Allie “loves the ability to bring awareness to those that do not know what Neurofibromatosis is or how it affects those with it.”
Cupid’s Undie Run was founded with a purpose to raise money for research to help end neurofibromatosis (NF), a group of genetic conditions that cause tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body. Since 2010, Cupid’s has brought together over 108,600 undie runners to build a community of supporters that just won’t quit. The Cupid’s community has raised over $21,700,000 since the inception of Cupid’s Undie Run, with 100% of net proceeds funding NF research, through our partner the Children’s Tumor Foundation.

Boosterthon
Implico had the opportunity to support a local elementary school’s Boosterthon, a fantastic initiative aimed at raising funds for meaningful projects. The collective effort of students, parents, and sponsors like us has brought a smile to every child’s face by helping bring shade to their playground! The joy and safety of these kids are of paramount importance to us, and we’re honored to be part of creating a more comfortable play environment for them. At Implico, we believe in giving back, fostering positive change, and investing in the future. We are immensely proud to contribute to the well-being and happiness of the children in our community.

Meals on Wheels
The Implico team is dedicated to making a positive impact in the community, constantly seeking opportunities to give back. One of their own, Mary Dvorak, the Creative Director, plays an active role in this effort through her involvement with Meals on Wheels. This vital program delivers meals to individuals who are unable to purchase or prepare their own food, ensuring that those in need receive nutritious meals at home. Although the term “Meals on Wheels” is often used to describe various home-delivered meal programs, Mary’s commitment to this cause highlights the team’s broader mission of service and care.
“I got involved because I was looking for a way to give back to my community. The best part of MOW is getting to know these sweet people and see the direct impact I am making on their lives. It has brought me more joy than I could have ever imagined!”
– Mary Dvorak, Creative Director
