Yes! It allows me to be more flexible with my schedule and also save some gas money.

What do you like to do in your free time?

I like to paint and create digital illustrations.

Learning so much more about InDesign and the workflow of this industry!

Yes, I get to hang out with my cats all day B-)

Fun fact, at school everyone just calls me “Pink” because it’s all I wear

What do you enjoy about your job?

I love working in a supportive environment and improve my graphic design skills daily!

I can work in my PJs and hang out with my bunny!

What do you like to do in your free time?

I love to spend time with my friends, work at the radio station and do snowboarding.

What do you enjoy about your job?

I’ve always been obsessed with language, so it’s a pleasure to engage with words on a daily basis.

What do you enjoy about working at Implico?

After just a month of work, I already feel a sense of community. People are approachable, supportive, and willing to help.

Do you like remote working? Why

Remote work is a blessing. I can work productively and efficiently while remaining in the comfort of my own home. My dog appreciates it too.

What do you like to do in your free time?

Most of my free time is spent at the café writing stories of the horror or fantasy variety. But I am also crazy about travel. So, you’ll often find me editing photos and writing posts for my travel blog. Insert shameless plug here: https://thekingstravel.com

During the pandemic, I produced wine at Cakebread Cellars in Napa, California. I don’t miss the hard labor in the sun, but I definitely miss the fine wine.

What do you enjoy about your job?

I have done small administration tasks at previous positions in the past but I have never had the experience of completing these tasks on such a large scale like I do here at Implico. I enjoy problem solving and making tasks easier for others by completing some of the “mundane,” tasks for them. One of my favorite things about this internship so far is that I feel like I am learning skills that can and will be immediately transferrable to other positions in my future in a wide array of areas.

What do you enjoy about working at Implico?

I really admire how Implico is a family and women run company. I am personally super close with my family as well, so I enjoy the family atmosphere of the company. I feel like everyone is extremely approachable and I also feel like they want us to succeed.

Do you like remote working? Why

I personally love remote working because I enjoy spending time with my pets. I also love the freedom of being able to move around and sit in different areas of my home throughout the day in comparison to sitting in a cubicle from 9-5.

What do you like to do in your free time?

In my free time I love to spend quality time with my family and closest friends. Whether that time is spent trying new restaurants, going to the beach, or just sitting on the couch binging a new show.

Fun fact I am actually a military child so I had the opportunity to live in Okinawa, Japan for 5 years! I also studied abroad my very first semester of college in Prague…so if you can’t tell I love to travel and try new things/meet new people (:

​What do you enjoy about your job?  

I enjoy designing all day and utilizing the skills I’ve been practicing for a few years now. I love feeling that I am growing.

What do you enjoy about working at Implico? 

I enjoy learning and practicing with real client work and having conversations with other designers. It’s special to me to have mentors that care and do all they can to teach.

Do you like remote working? Why? 

Like with every job, it has its pros and cons. I enjoy remote working and all the flexibility that comes with it.

What do you like to do in your free time? 

I enjoy reading, drawing, and watching tv shows. Most recently, I’ve taken up gardening and playing pickle ball with my family.
